Day two started with a tour of Steve Sansweet's Rancho Obi-Wan Exhibit. What a sight!! So many rare and one of a kind pieces. A real treat to see a small part of his massive collection.
At 12:30, I attended the Collecting Stories Panel with Chris and Mattias. Another panel with great stories of unbelievable pieces being discovered and shared with other Collectors.
Attended the Rancho Obi-Wan and Star Wars Collecting on the Air Panels. Both were great and each Presenter talked about their passion for the Hobby. Jordan, Shane and Steve were awesome. These were the first panels that I have attended at Celebration and looking forward to more.
Attended the Collectors Swap Meet in the Social Hall. A number of Vintage Collectors setup their "wares" for sale . The highlights include a MOC Lili Ledy Jawa, Uzay Bluestars card back with bubble, Polish bootlegs attached to the sprue, MOC Palitoy Boba Fett and a number of hard to find Vintage POTF coins. The atmosphere was great with Collectors socializing with each other and discussing our great hobby.
After a great dinner with friends, we gathered for the "famous" Room Sales. What a sight!! So many rare toys were on display. Rare SW 12 Back Proofcards, harder to find ESB, ROTJ and Revenge proofs, fist shot figures and vehicles, foreign cardbacks and so many other hard to find treats. The room sales ended "early" Saturday morning and were a great event to participate in.
A very long exciting and exhausting day. Looking forward to Day three.
