Wow,what a day!! The best part of each Celebration event is the old friends that you see and the new friends that you make. Putting a face to a name that you see in the forums really helps.
After walking in with JT and Matthew, we headed in different directions to survey the floor area. At 12:00 PM, we joined Skye and Steve for the Vintage Podcast. They did a great job and the interviews with Lee Bullock on 12" figures and Joe Y. on Bootlegs from Turkey were great.
At 2:30 PM, Louis and Josefina gave an outstanding presentation on Lili Ledy collectables. The real treat of the presentation were seeing carded prototypes of the ESB carded figures. They did a great job explaining the entire Lili Ledy collectable line.
At 3:30 PM, members of DCSWCC greeted Celebration attendees in the Social Hall. I am a proud member and the event really went well. Mike Kurtz and Martin Thurn highlighted the Clubs great accomplishments from 2003 - Present.
To cap the night off, the inaugural Archive Party was held in the Rosen Centre. What a great event. From pin the shield on the Headman to shooting a custom rocket firing Boba Fett, the party had so many great events. My compliments to the Organizers and Sponsors of the party.
